CONSULTATION

CONSULTATION

Are you curious about integrating movement, fluidity and perception into your bodywork practice?

Would you like to build your repertoire of take-home practices your clients are likely to stick with?

Could you use some wisdom and advice about difficult symptoms not responding to your attentions?

Do you want to collaborate about injury prevention for your activity group, team or company?

Julie consults with practitioners and organizations of all kinds who would like the benefit of her years of experience and extensive toolbox. In one-time sessions, ongoing check-ins or workshops, Julie brings a fresh, unique and effective approach.

Practitioners learn to apply the principles of fluid intelligence to limitations in body movement. Julie will also use fluidity as a way to enhance hands-on tissue work. In addition, the larger contexts of posture, perception and the organization of space will be explored.

Julie works with groups ranging from athletes to musicians to computer programmers. Participants learn her unique and accessible approach to preventing injury, staying embodied and recovering from the tolls of repetition.

"The students absolutely love the movement..."

"For the past five years or so, I have invited Julie to teach a two-hour class in one of my graduate courses at University of Washington. The students absolutely love the movement exercises and the knowledge of the body that Julie offers them. Each year her visit is one of the high points of the course.

David Levy, Professor, The Information School, UW

"Julie has a wealth of knowledge, training, and intuition. Her ability to articulate concepts and guidance towards problem solving makes each consult valuable. We discuss difficult cases, learn new approaches and have hands-on experience. It has deepened my own practice with clients. She rocks!!!"

 S.B., Craniosacral Therapist
