PHYSICAL THERAPY SESSIONS

INDIVIDUAL PHYSICAL THERAPY SESSIONS

Julie holds private bodywork sessions in her Lake City office. Customized to each individual client, these sessions generally combine exploration of movement, manual therapy techniques, and breath and embodiment practices. Using her tools of perception and knowledge of body systems, Julie will collaborate with you to reduce discomfort and regain ease of movement.

Julie also loves helping musicians maintain physical ease. In addition, she works with dancers, athletes, performers and couch-lovers.

Individual Sessions with Julie Jacobs, NonTraditional PT

"I know from the first minute that I am in good hands. Julie provides instruction as well as treatment. She helps me understand a particular injury and how to heal from it. But instead of assigning repetitive exercises, Julie teaches movement that is organic, circular, flowing, and loose, the kind of movement that carries me back out into my life with a sense of well-being."

 J.Y.

"After years of sloppy posture mixed with bad swimming, skiing and climbing technique, my shoulders started dislocating. I withdrew from risky activities one by one before Julie helped me regain awareness and confidence in my body movements. My shoulders healed and I reintroduced rowing, skiing, and even swimming - without the need for surgery. Her encyclopedic knowledge and soft guidance was essential for my recovery."

 E.D.

"She helps me understand."
